Gameplay
Players take turns attempting to pass under the bar without touching it or falling. They must bend backward while keeping their feet flat on the ground and their back straight.
Elimination: A player is eliminated if they touch the bar with any part of their body, fall, or cannot maintain balance while passing under the bar.
Lowering the Bar: After each round, the bar is lowered by a few inches (typically 2 to 6 inches), increasing the difficulty. The game continues until only one player remains who can successfully pass under the lowest bar.
No Assistance: Players cannot receive help from others while attempting to pass under the bar. They must wait until the player ahead of them has completely cleared the bar before taking their turn.
Direction: Players must approach the bar facing forward and cannot change direction mid-turn.
Posture: Players should keep their back straight and engage their core for better balance.
Variations
Double Limbo: Two players can attempt to limbo under the stick simultaneously, facing back-to-back.
Limbo is not only a test of flexibility and balance but also a source of fun and laughter at gatherings, making it a popular choice for parties and events!
